Toadstool Table

I cannot believe that
 it is almost the middle
of January!

And it has been almost
a week since my last post.

 Where does the time go?

Here is our latest piece
and one of my favorites!

I have never seen
anything like it.

We think it resembles
 a toadstool.

:)

We picked this up on a
recent trip to Franklin, TN.

As mentioned in this post

It was a little wobbly and
had a few surface stains
but all in all it was in
great shape.

We removed some of the
old stain to take a peek.

Beautiful!

We proceeded to strip off
all of the old stain.

and tear it all apart

So we could put
it all back together
 nice and tight.

We applied some new stain.

Steve is a mixologist :)

He mixes different colors
of stain to get the
color he wants.

Here it is in all its glory!

Look at these legs!

Whistle! Whistle!

Happy Thursday!

  1. What a neat little table! Glad you re stained it and didn't just paint over it. That takes dedication. Great job!
