This is the story of
my curtain predicament.
 Because of this.
I got these.
Which looks like this.
UGH!
I originally purchased
these curtains to use
 in my Hearth Room.
When we hung them the
first time they were
to short to cover
the window frame.
But we decided that it
did not look so bad and
left them as they were.
One day Oliver decided to
 do what dogs do best.

So I had to wash them
on a sanitize setting
and of course
they shrunk :(

We lowered the brackets
and rod a bit more and
hung them a second time.

As you can see below
they were to short to
cover the window frame.

| Note To Self: Take more before pictures! |
So I took them down
and started over.
I picked up a couple
of painter's drop cloths
from the local hardware
store and washed them up.

Got out my sewing box.
Iron.
And sewing machine.
This guy I picked up
at the Goodwill a few
years ago for a whopping
$25 buckaroos.
It has been running
like a champ ever since.
 I love the vintage look!
and sewing.
We moved all the hardware
into the Living Room.
We had to trim the
 bottom of the middle
 bracket a bit so as
to fit on top of
the window frame.
 Before
 After
Third times a charm!
