Whatever Floats Your Boat - Our 1958 Pabst Runabout

Out of all the projects we have taken on this would have to be our biggest and most challenging.

A friend of ours had this guy in his garage and wanted to unload it and of course in true Steve and Meg style we jumped on it!

It is a 14’ 1958 Pabst Runabout.

He gave us a few before pictures that I scanned.

It sure was beautiful back in the day.

And this is pretty much what it looked like the day we brought it home!

Steve has patched a few holes and refinished and painted the bottom outside.

The inside?

Well…… that’s another story.

Currently we are using it for storage.

There is still so much more to be done!

It is going to look amazing!

We will be sure to keep you posted on the progress.

  1. Oh I love this, anything vintage! It would look great towed behind our 53' Town and Country Wagon, and even better in the water. Love t see how it turns out.
