Over the weekend we took a road trip to Illinois and Iowa to visit family and friends and also find more items for our shop.
One of our stops was in Rockford, IL to visit Mary @ urban farmgirl!!!!

A few years ago we we took a trip to the Kane County Flea Market in St. Charles, IL and rented an outdoor space to market a few of our pieces and wares.
On that trip we were lucky enough to meet Mary and see her A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Furniture!
I remember looking over at her space and thinking
“I want to be her when I grow up”
I have been following her blog for a few years and was ecstatic to meet her, shake her hand and get her business card.
Which we still have hanging on our “Dream Board” in our office several years later.
It sure was nice meeting her again!
Of course I had to pick up a couple of things from her shop to bring home :)
A cute little canvas coin purse
And this super cute pillow
Her Shop is amazing!
If you are ever in her neck of the woods you need to check it out!

On our trip we also found some great items to share on tomorrows thrift shop finds Thursday blog post as well!
In Fact a couple of the items I used in my Spring Mantle switch-up.
But I am keeping that a secret until tomorrows blog post!
(Before)
The Hyacinth’s from our outdoor tablescape were done blooming and looking pretty sad so I removed the wilted flowers and placed the pot on the mantle.
Along with the candle holders as seen in this post

A potted Fern and some small moss balls I picked up at Pier One.
I also used the same stand that I placed the bunny on.
As mentioned in this post

I removed the bunny and attached a small boxwood wreath and ribbon.
Happy Wednesday :)
