It’s Frrrrriday!

We have family coming in this weekend from Illinois for a visit.

We leave for Chicago on Monday for a few days.

And you could not ask for a better day outside :)

LIFE IS GOOD!!

Today’s post is about this little oar I pulled out of the garbage at our son’s new home left by the previous owners.

“One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”

I wanted to hang it on the wall but thought it needed something………..

And the hubs had yet another brilliant idea!

Paint something on it!

Great idea I said!

So I taped it up. 

Painted it red.

Added a small white stripe.

And sanded it a bit.

Check it out!

You can still see a bit of the logo!

I Screwed and eye hook into the top and hung it on the wall.

I have not done any fall decorating in our hearth room.

I want to hang on to Summer just a bit longer.
