We finished the farmhouse table!

And I finally got to use the milk paint I ordered a few weeks back!

I love it!

The fact that you can mix up just what you need is fantastic!

And clean up was a snap!

The top of the table was slightly warped.

So Steve pulled the legs together using a strap clamp until they were tight and straight up and down and attached some “brackets” he cut out of some scrap wood.

He also had to move the support/slide and re-drill some new holes because the old ones were stripped out.

After he worked his magic I took over and gave it a light sanding.

And applied my first coat of milk paint.

After painting it I decided to distress it and apply a wax.

What do you think?

I think I LOVE it!

And Steve’s brackets worked liked a charm!
