Aqua Wire Cabinet

I’m back with another quick flip!

We picked up this wire cabinet at the Goodwill in Davenport, IA.

The first thing I did was remove all of the hardware and the wire/metal that was attached to the door and prepared a “rusting solution” out of peroxide, vinegar and salt.

And applied it with a paint brush.

I allowed the solution to sit for 24 hours which gave the metal an oxidized finished and removed most the gunk and lacquer.

I brushed the wire/metal with a wire brush but forgot to take a picture of that :(

After some sanding the Mr. applied a few coats of aqua paint.

I re-attached the wire/metal with the staple gun.
