Hello and welcome back to

Thrift Shop Finds Thursday!

Spring and Summer have taken over our household and we have been super busy with “life” :)

Here are my most recent thrift shop finds.

I found this brass magazine holder at the Goodwill for only $4.99!

It has a wood piece in the middle to separate the two sections.

This grouping is going in our master bathroom.

All three are thrift shop finds and all for just a little over $20 bucks!

I also found this set of three candle holders for only $4.00!

I am considering painting them but for now here they sit.

My final find was this ceramic urn for only $1.99.

“Have A Seat” - Goodwill Chair Makeover

 

Today I thought I would pop in with a quick post of this quick chair makeover we completed last week.

We picked this chair up at the Goodwill in Bettendorf, Iowa a few months ago for a whopping $5.38. 

(See the roll top desk in the background? That is our next project! )

I love the detail on the back.

We gave it a light sanding, painted it silver and recovered the seat.

Another awesome, inexpensive & easy project!

Goodwill Dining Room Table

 

Last Fall on a weekend
drive to Kentucky
we spotted this
dining room table
at the Goodwill for only $25!

A deal this good is to good to pass up and unfortunately we did
not drive the truck
so............

We drove to Lowes picked
up some tools and a couple hours later we had managed to get this beast small enough to fit into
the backseat and trunk
of our car!

As you can see in the below picture part of the leg is damaged and missing. 

But since we only paid $25 bucks!

AND

Our daughter needed a dining room table!

Is was a Win Win situation!
