New Life To Old Chairs - Go Bold Or Go Home!!!

Is it really December 12th???

 ACK!

Where has the time gone?!?!

I’m still working on our Christmas Décor.

Maybe I will be done before Christmas :)

I finished these chairs a few weeks back with Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Tricycle Red.

We picked them up from a fellow vendor at Yarbro’s Antique Mall.

Very Nice Solid Oak Chairs!

Here is the before.

I gave them a good sanding and repaired a couple of loose boards.

And lost another sanding pad in the process.

Since I was going to paint them red again I was able to leave some red on the chairs and get away with it! SCORE!

After sanding and painting I waxed them with Miss Mustard Seed’s Furniture Wax.

I loved it!

Best wax ever!

  1. These chairs look terrific Meg! I've never tried Miss Mustard Seeds wax but it looks like it gives a really nice sheen.
